In a social media post, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shared that they have begun the process of sending the notices of violation to erring motorist under the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).
“Nagsimula nang magpadala ang MMDA ng notices of violation (NOV) sa mga nahuli’t napatunayang lumabag sa No Contact Apprehension Policy matapos ang masusing pagre-review sa mga paglabag na nakunan ng camera,” the agency wrote.
The MMDA disclosed that through its Motorcycle Unit, they have sent these NOVs to the registered address of the vehicles registration with the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
Others have been sent through the Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost).
Moreover, even those who have registered plates outside the region, have been sent their notices.
The MMDA likewise assured that NCAP violations have undergone review from their team.
“Tinitiyak ng MMDA na dumadaan sa manual review at verification ang mga nakukunan ng camera para masigurong tama ang huli sa mga ito.“
Meanwhile, the agency also previously launched an online filing platform for the resolution process of its MMDA Traffic Adjudication Division.
“Hindi mo na kailangang pumunta sa MMDA Head Office para i-apela ang iyong huli dahil pwedeng-pwede mo na itong gawin online,” the authority wrote on its Facebook page.
One would need need to this site and fill out the necessary information, such us the Unified Ordinance Violation Receipt (UOVR), driver’s license, and Official Receipt/Certificate of Registration (OR/CR) of the vehicle.
The MMDA-Traffic Adjudication Division will then contact them for the pre-processing of your complaint. If needed, an invitation for a face-to-face hearing of the submitted complaint will be sent.
