From housemate to a certified recording artist.
On Friday, May 30, ‘Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11’ second big placer Rain Celmar stages her first solo fan meeting, which also doubles as the launch event for her new album.
Called ‘Meteor Rain,’ the sold-out show happens at the Skydome at SM North EDSA in Quezon City. Named guest performers at the event are Jeremy G, Prince Keino, and Jel Ray.
The program is the namesake of Celmar’s debut extended play, which comprises of the tracks ‘Eyes Open,’ ‘Bluvd,’ and ‘Ligaya,’ and were published at 7:00 pm on the same day.
In her interview with ABS-CBN News, Rain shared that she co-wrote the songs and added that process revolved more around making the song catchy.
Aside from music, the ex-‘PBB’ housemate will also be dabbling into acting, as she is set to portray the role of Olivia Alcantara in the upcoming iWant original series ‘Love At First Spike’.
In the said program, she joins the cast led by Emilio Daez, Sean Tristan, Reign Parani, and River Joseph.
Celmar will also be reunited with her fellow ‘Gen 11’ castmates, Dylan Yturralde and Binsoy Namoca.
The show is scheduled to begin streaming on the refreshed iWant app in June.
