The Japanese star is set to headline a solo event in the country very soon.
In an announcement poster last week, actor Kentaro Sakaguchi publicized the staging of his self-titled fan meeting tour across Asia.
Part of the initial five stops of the said tour is the Philippines, with the event scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the SM Skydome in Quezon City.
As per the details provided by the organizers, a ticket pre-selling event will happen on Sunday, April 13 at 12:00 noon via Wish Us Luck’s dedicated website.
Meanwhile, the general sale of passes will commence on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 12:00 noon via SM Tickets’ physical outlets and digital website.
Aside from Manila, the 33-year-old star’s tour will also be held in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Seoul.
Kentaro Sakaguchi made his debut in the Japanese showbusiness scene as a model in 2010, having first appeared in the popular Men’s Non-no magazine.
He then transitioned to acting starting in 2014, before eventually bagging lead roles in the likes of ‘The 100th Love With You,’ ‘Color Me True,’ and ‘Brave Father Online: Our Story of Final Fantasy XIV.’
He also took on characters in multiple TV shows, including the Japanese adaptation of ‘Signal’ in 2018 and the cross-border drama ‘What Comes After Love’ in 2024.
