On Wednesday, April 2, up-and-coming all-mele Filipino pop act GAT released the official music video for their rendition of the song ‘Daleng Dale.’
The five-member group, composed of Ethan David, Derick Ong, Michael Keith, Hans Paronda, and Charles Law, danced to the upbeat song in various spots around the Circuit area in Makati City.
As of writing, the video has garnered over 60,000 views on YouTube, more than six hours after it was uploaded.
The dance track ‘Daleng Dale’ was originally written and performed by the duo MMJ of real-life twin singers MM and MJ Magno in 2012.
It later reached virality in 2023 after becoming a popular sound on social networking platform TikTok.
Earlier this year, in January, the single became the official soundtrack of the Viva One adaptation of ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E,’ which stars Ashtine Olviga, Andres Muhlach, and Rabin Angeles.
GAT members Ethan, Derick, Michael, and Charles are also part of the top-trending digital series.
Meanwhile, prior to the show’s start, the new P-pop group was formed by Viva Entertainment in December 2024.
The following month, in January, GAT released their cover of James Reid’s 2014 hit single ‘Huwag Ka Nang Humirit.’
