Two weeks after her sold-out back-to-back shows.
Indonesian singer-songwriter Nicole Zefanya, popularly known by her mononym NIKI, is back in Manila for the third night of her ‘Buzz’ tour stop in the country.
The event is slated to be held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Saturday, March 1.
This comes after her sold-out two-night pre-Valentine shows last February 11 and 12 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Aside from the Philippines, also part of NIKI’s Asian stops for ‘Buzz’ are Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.
The ‘Buzz’ concert in Manila marked the Indonesian musician’s return to the Philippines after her sold-out concert, titled ‘Nicole,’ staged at the same venue in Pasay City back in 2023.
NIKI began her performing career in Indonesia when she was tapped to be the opening act of Taylor Swift during the American singer’s Red Tour stop in Jakarta back in 2014.
Years later, she signed up with 88rising and released extended plays ‘Zephyr,’ and ‘Wanna Take This Downtown?,’ and studio albums ‘Moonchild’ and her eponymous ‘Nicole.’
Apart from those, she also sang the song “Every Summertime,” which was part of the original soundtrack for the Marvel film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings.”
In August 2024, she released her third studio album titled ‘Buzz,’ which is the namesake of the world concert tour.
