On Friday, February 28, Korean independent rock band wave to earth staged their ‘Play With Earth’ concert in the Philippines.
The Manila show took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on February 28, 2025.
‘Play With Earth’ marked the group’s return to the country after their successful two-night ‘The First Era’ solo concert, which happened at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City back in March 2024.
Prior to their which, they went to Manila in November 2023 to participate in the ‘ON Music Festival’ in Pasay City, where they joined fellow Korean acts Suho (of EXO), Seori, as well as Filipino musicians Moira dela Torre and Darren Espanto.
The band, composed of members Daniel Kim, Shin Donggyu, and Cha Soonjong, made their debut in the music scene back in 2019.
They have since released their extended plays ‘Wave 0.01’ and ‘Summer Flows 0.02,’ as well as their first studio album ‘0.1 Flaws and All.’
