The first episode is now available for streaming.
On Friday, January 3, streaming platform Viva One released the first episode for the live-action adaptation of Lara Flores’ Wattpad story ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E.’
As a special treat for the novel’s fans, Viva One said that the series’ pilot episode is available for free on its app.
Starring Andres Muhlach, Ashtine Olviga, and Rabin Angeles, the story will revolve around the unruly all-boys Section E who will be shaken after welcoming their only female classmate.
Andres will portray the lead character Mark Keifer Watson, the class president of Section E, while Ashtine will do the lead female character Jay-Jay. Rabine is Yuri, who is Keifer’s archrival.
Other cast members in this adaptation are multiple up-and-coming stars of Viva, namely André Yllana, AJ Ferrer, Charles Law, Daniel Ong, Derick Ong, Ethan David, Frost Sandoval, Keagan De Jesus, Kurt Delos Reyes, Kyosu Guinto, Martin Venegas, Michael Keith, Nic Galvez, Sam Shoaf, Yanyan De Jesus, and Heart Ryan.
Veteran actress Nanette Inventor, Lander Vera Perez, Yayo Aguila, and Katya Santos are also in the series.
