The hit digital series is making its way to primetime.
Popular Viu series ‘How To Spot A Red Flag’ will finally be seen by Kapamilya viewers on linear television and streaming platform iWantTFC later this month.
The kilig-serye starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, also known as DonBelle, will be making its premiere on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5 on January 27.
At the moment, the time slot is yet to be announced, as it is the case with another show, the action-drama ‘Incognito,’ that will also debut in mid-January.
‘How To Spot A Red Flag’ is under the direction of Dwein Baltazar and sees Donny portray Matt, while Belle plays Cha.
In its trailer, viewers see Belle’s barista character get mad as she meets Donny’s “charming good boy” role for the first time — only to discover the he is “cheating” on her, which the man denies.
Donny then pursues to “redeem” himself, which later leads them to the path of discovering each other.
Also part of the cast are actors Angel Aquino, Christian Vasquez, Mylene Dizon, Benjie Paras, and Jameson Blake.
‘HTSARF’ is the pair’s follow-up project after their successful first primetime teleserye ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ which was hailed as the most-watched program in Netflix for the first half of 2024.
As for ABS-CBN Studios and Viu, it will be the latest collaboration project for the companies — a partnership that began in 2022.
The tie-up between the entities saw the ABS-CBN Studios-produced Filipino adaptation dramas ‘The Broken Marriage Vow,’ ‘Flower of Evil,’ and most recently, ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ stream in multiple territories in the continent via Viu.
