This is in conjunction with their upcoming tenth anniversary.
On Monday, December 2, Korean pop girl group GFriend dropped the first official teasers for their 2025 comeback.
The six-member team, composed of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji, will be reuniting more than three years after their last extended play titled ‘Song of the Sirens,’ which carried the single ‘Apple.’
The release of their reunion project, the special album ‘Season of Memories’ under their original label Source Music, will be released on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 6:00 pm (Korean time).
Aside from new music, the girl group will also be holding a two-day special event in Seoul, South Korea on January 18 and 19, 2025.
GFriend made their debut back in 2015 with the song ‘Glass Bead,’ which was later followed by their breakthrough hits ‘Me Gustas Tu,’ ‘Rough,’ and ‘Navillera.’
They went on to drop tracks like ‘Fingertip,’ ‘Love Whisper,’ ‘Fever,’ ‘Mago,’ and ‘Apple.’
In 2021, the entire group left Source Music, with Eunha, SinB, and Umji later creating Viviz, while Sowon, Yerin, and Yuju concentrated on their respective solo careers.
