Further reaffirming their marriage to the public.
In a post on her Instagram account, actress-producer Sylvia Sanchez shared snapshots from the recent gathering at their home for an intimate celebration with their family to celebrate her wedding anniversary with husband Art Atayde.
Present during which were members of the clan, including their children and their respective partners.
Actress Ria Atayde came with her husband actor Zanjoe Marudo, while Gela Atayde went to the dinner with former co-star Zaijian Jaranilla, and Xavi Atayde.
Meanwhile, the biggest news of all is seeing Rep. Arjo Atayde and his wife, Eat Bulaga host Maine Mendoza, together in this occasion.
In some stills taken at the dining table, both Arjo and Maine were seen interacting with the rest of the family. Sylvia even shared a candid photo featuring only the couple in one of her posts in the said carousel.
“Thank you, kiddos, for surprising us last night. Love you all!” wrote Sanchez in the caption of her post.
This post marks the first image of the actor-politician and the TV host together following the rumors that alleged their split in the past week.
The issue was sparked by pictures where Mendoza was not seen in photos from a prior party, where Arjo was present.
However, in a statement by their official press relations handler, Chuck Gomez, he said that the non-appearance was because the noontime show host “was not feeling well that day.”
It was back in 2018 when the two crossed paths for the first time for the story conference of Vic Sotto’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry that year, Jack Em Popoy, where they were both part of.
That same year, in December, rumors first floated regarding Arjo and Maine’s romantic relationship. Mendoza later confirmed in her blog in early 2019 that they were indeed a couple already by that time.
Three years later, on July 28, 2022, Arjo proposed to Maine in an intimate gathering with their respective family members, which culminated with the wedding in Baguio City on the same date in 2023.
