ABS-CBN releases ‘Our Stories Shine This Christmas’ ident

The much-anticipated ident has been dropped.

On Monday, December 2, ABS-CBN released the full music video of its 2024 Christmas ID titled ‘Our Stories Shine This Christmas.’

Featured in the CID are the Kapamilya network’s artists, news personalities, executives, staffers, and the various case studies from all walks of life.

The star-studded affair was led by the likes of ABS-CBN’s former President and CEO Charo Santos, Sharon Cuneta, Maricel Soriano, Judy Ann Santos, Piolo Pascual, Regine Velasquez, Coco Martin, Vice Ganda, Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo, Kathryn Bernardo, Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, Julia Barretto, Enrique Gil, Donny Pangilinan, and Belle Mariano, among many others.

Anchors and reporters Noli de Castro, Bernadette Sembrano, Alvin Elchico, Jeff Canoy, and ANC’s Karmina Constantino, Rico Hizon, Ron Cruz, Michelle Ong, and Denice Dinsay were also present.

Viewers were also given a glimpse of the upcoming lineup of shows for the year 2025, which includes ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’ topbilled by Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino; ‘Incognito’ of Richard Gutierrez and Daniel Padilla; ‘Nobody’ with Gerald Anderson, JC de Vera, and Jessy Mendiola; and ‘What Lies Beneath’ starring Julia Barretto, Janella Salvador, Bella Padilla, Jake Cuenca, and JM de Guzman.

For the first time, phenomenal ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ BINI, composed of members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, sang one of the main highlights of the ABS-CBN Christmas ID.

Clocking in at slightly less than 26 minutes, ‘Our Stories Shine This Christmas’ is the longest ident produced by the Kapamilya network for the season since 2002, beating previous record-holder ‘Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa’t Isa’ in 2021 that ran for over 18 minutes.

ABS-CBN is also the last of the three major networks in Philippine entertainment to launch its Christmas ID this year — with GMA having premiered ‘Ganito Ang Paskong Pinoy’ last November 11, followed by TV5’s ‘Hatid-Saya Ang Paskong Kapatid’ on November 18.
