The fifth generation K-pop girl group is back in Manila.
On Thursday, August 1, Korean girl group NewJeans is back in the Philippines for the joint ‘Ultimate Fandom Concert’ organized by beverage company Coca-Cola Philippines.
The said event takes place this evening at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on September 5, 2024, and will also see performances from Filipino music acts Alamat, Zack Tabudlo, Kyle Echarri, Nik Makino, and Illest Morena.
This joint concert marks NewJeans’ return to the Philippines after previously attending the Asia Artist Awards ceremony, which was held in the country for the first time at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan in December 2023.
The group, composed of members Danielle, Hanni, Haerin, Minji, and Hyein, made their debut in 2022 is known for their songs like ‘Attention,’ ‘OMG,’ ‘Hype Boy,’ ‘Ditto,’ and ‘Super Shy.’
In May 2024, they made their comeback with ‘How Sweet,’ which is the title track of its namesake single album.
