Ohm Pawat, Nanon Korapat officially ‘cease’ working as pair

In a statement released on Wednesday, July 31, Thai media conglomerate GMMTV delivered a sad news to fans of boys love (BL) pair OhmNanon of actors Ohm Pawat Chitsawangdee and Nanon Korapat Kirdpan.

“Following Ohm Pawat Chitsawangdee and Nanon Korapat Kirdpan’s mutual decision to cease their work as a pair some time ago to focus on their individual career paths, GMMTV, Ohm, and Nanon now share the sentiment to officially announce this decision,” the company statement read.

They then expressed their “heartfelt thanks” to all fans who continued to support the actors in their individual career paths, and wished for their support in Ohm and Nanon in their future endeavors.

Ohm Pawat and Nanon Korapat topbilled the highly popular 2021 boys love series ‘Bad Buddy,’ where they portrayed the characters Pat and Pran, respectively.

They also reprised these roles in the drama anthology ‘Our Skyy 2’ in 2022, and even held a fan meeting event in Manila together earlier in 2023.

Although, in October 2023, amidst speculations regarding the future of their pairing, the GMMTV official merchandise shop reportedly removed OhmNanon from the list of official couples.

This was also followed by separate cryptic posts from the stars, further fuelling the speculations.

During the GMMTV 2023 upfront presentation, Ohm was announced to be part of ‘Kidnap: The Series,’ where he will be co-starring with Lengso Thanapon.

As for Nanon, he is set to star as one of the princes in the upcoming Thai adaptation of ‘Scarlet Heart’ with Tu Tontawan and Win Metawin, among many others.
