The Kapuso actor set foot on ABS-CBN’s turf anew.
On Sunday, October 22, ‘Asia’s Multimedia Star’ Alden Richards made his first-ever guesting on ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime variety show ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’. On the show, Alden joined his leading lady in ‘Five Break-Ups And A Romance,’ ‘Kapamilya Daytime Drama Queen’ Julia Montes to promote the said film.
Alden, who is visibly excited about his first appearance on the show, said that he had only watched the program before. He also jokingly greeted his parents to say that he is finally an “artista” now that he’s on the ‘ASAP’ stage.
His guesting on the noontime show is a rare occurrence, considering that he is one of the mainstays of GMA’s own Sunday variety show ‘All-Out Sundays,’ which faces ‘ASAP’ head-on in the said slot.
In the past, Alden was also one of the main hosts of another Kapuso variety show ‘Sunday PinaSaya,’ which aired from 2015 to 2019.
Aside from ‘ASAP,’ Alden and Julia also appeared on ‘Magandang Buhay’ recently, which is also the second time Alden was seen on the said morning talk show. It was in 2019 when he first visited the program as part of the promotions for ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ with Kathryn Bernardo.
‘Five Break-Ups And A Romance’ is directed by Irene Villamor, and is under GMA Pictures, Cornerstone Studios, and Myriad Entertainment.
