Bright Vachirawit on ‘Cloud9’ as he opens his new company

The Thai actor has formally opened his newly-established company.

In an event last week, on September 26, Thai actor Bright Vachirawit formally opened his company named Cloud9 Entertainment.

The said launch party came two weeks after Bright announced his departure as an exclusive artist of Thai media conglomerate GMMTV.

Bright was a contract star of GMMTV from 2018 until last September. Under the network, he had starred in multiple projects like ‘2gether: The Series,’ its sequel ‘Still 2gether,’ ‘F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers,’ ‘Astrophile,’ and most recently, he also appeared in ‘Midnight Museum’ and ‘Enigma’.

Invited to the event are some of Thailand’s biggest stars, like Urassaya Sperbund — who will be paired with Bright for the upcoming film ‘The Interest’. Also present are Bright’s colleagues at GMMTV, the most notable being Win Metawin — the other half of the popular Thai BL (boys love) team BrightWin.

In conjunction with Universal Music Thailand, Bright will be releasing his upcoming English album through the label.

He is also set to stage his fan meeting named “Bright’s Home Party,” which will kick off this December in Bangkok, with plans of bringing it to the rest of Asia by next year.

In the long-term, Cloud9 will evolve from just managing Bright. They have also said that they are planning to diversify by managing more artists and the produce various contents like music and programs, as well as live events.

Despite leaving GMMTV, it has been said in the past that there is still possibility for Bright to star in the company’s series in the future.
