The radio station launched new and returning programs on Monday.
On July 17, 2023, DWPM Radyo 630 and TeleRadyo Serbisyo finally debuted programs that will air in the afternoons and evenings. The changes come after two weeks of limited broadcasts in the mornings till noon, with automated music, repeats, and a simulcast of ‘TV Patrol’ at 6:30 pm filling the rest of the schedule.
As it has already been since launch, the morning block consists of ‘Gising Pilipinas’ with Alvin Elchico and Doris Bigornia at 6:00 am, ‘TeleRadyo Serbisyo Balita’ goes on air at 7:30 am with Joyce Balancio and Noli de Castro — who is also with ‘Kabayan’ at 8:00 am. ‘Pintig Bayan’ hosted by Johnson Manabat and Joyce Balancio follows at 9:00 am, while ‘Tatak: Serbisyo’ of Bernadette Sembrano and Winnie Cordero is at 10:30 am. Tony Velasquez and Johnson Manabat’s noontime newscast ‘Headline Ngayon’ airs from 12:00 nn.
After a playback for 30 minutes, Migs Bustos’ ‘Share Ko Lang’ is on from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. ‘Hello Attorney’ of Atty. Noel del Prado and Lyza Aquino kicks off thereafter, before another playback at 3:00 pm. From 3:30 to 5:00 pm, it is ‘Isyu Spotted’ with Tambalang KarTon or Karmina Constantino and Tony Velasquez. Ka-pasaders will also continue to tune jn to Peter Musngi and Rica Lazo and their show ‘Pasada’ from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, right before ‘TV Patrol’.
After ‘TV Patrol,’ the ‘Sakto’ tandem of Tyang Amy Perez and Jeff Canoy will be heard and seen anew as they move to primetime with their new program ‘Kasalo’ from 8:00 to 10:00 pm.
On weekends, the day will kick off with ‘Anong Ganap?’ of Adrian Ayalin, RG Cruz, and Sherrie Ann Torres from 6:00 am. Henry Omaga-Diaz is also on-air every Saturday with ‘Headlines of the Day’ at 7:00 am. Dra. Luisa also continues with her topical health program, now retitled ‘Iwas Sakit, Iwas Gastos,’ followed immediately by Winnie Cordero’s ‘Win Today’ and ‘Wais Konsyumer’ of Alvin Elchico.
Danny Buenafe moves to Sunday mornings with ‘Aprub ‘Yan’. TeleRadyo’s ‘Diskarte’ also gets a revamp with a new title ‘Panalong Diskarte’. Lyza Aquino ends the block with ‘Wow Sikat!’ till noon.
It still remains unknown at the moment how the weekends will look like as the programming expansion rolls out.
DWPM Radyo 630 and TeleRadyo Serbisyo launched on June 30, replacing the former DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 and TeleRadyo, which ‘ended’ its operations the day before. The ‘end’ basically signalled that the radio/television channel is no longer under the direct managment of ABS-CBN. Instead, it is now under the supervision of the network’s joint venture with Prime Media Holdings, Inc. PMHI’s Philippine Collectivemedia Corporation (PCMC) holds the license for the 630 AM frequency.
