Sandara Park named promotional ambassador for Overseas Korean Affairs Office

She has added another title to her already long list.

On Thursday, June 4, Korean superstar Sandara Park shared her latest achievement after being named the promotional ambassador of the Overseas Korean Affairs Offce, which is a government policy-making arm of the Republic of Korea for its citizens living abroad.

The member of the legendary girl group 2NE1 said that with her appointment, she is “truly grateful to have played a meaningful role.”

The 41-year-old, who lived in the Philippines for years, have also looked back on that fact and conveyed how much she understood her fellow citizens who are away from their home country.

“I have lived in the Philippines for a long time and felt the heart of my overseas compatriots close to me, so it is more meaningful,” she wrote.

To end, she told that she “will work diligently to be a family that helps my overseas compatriots and the Republic of Korea. Thank you!”

Meanwhile, just last April, Sandara returned to Manila for a trip with her friends, whom she brought to several spots around the metro and beyond.

During which, she also had a moment on social media, when she acknowledge that she still remains the “Pambansang Krung-krung ng Pilipinas,” a title that was bestowed to her during her stint in the 2004 ABS-CBN reality show Star Circle Quest.
