They are now officially a family of three.
In a short video uploaded on social media on Monday, June 1, Kapamilya TV host Robi Domingo and his wife, Maiqui Pineda, shared to the world some good news from them.
The couple had already welcomed their first child, with the Pinoy Big Brother host and former housemate creatively introducing their son by using the famous lines from the show.
“Welcome to the outside world…” said Robi as he pointed to his baby who is being carried by Maiqui.
In the caption, he wrote, “Our newest housemate.”
In the replies section of the video, which has already garnered over 90,000 likes as of this writing, multiple celebrities have expressed their joy for the couple.
Among those that sent congratulatory messages to Robi and Maiqui are his fellow PBB hosts Luis Manzano, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, Gabbi Garcia, Alexa Ilacad, as well as other celebrities like Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, Donny Pangilinan, Alex Gonzaga, Maja Salvador, BINI member Mikha Lim, Angeline Quinto, Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Jhong Hilario, Loisa Andalio, and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, among many others.
It was back in January when Robi and Maiqui announced their pregnancy, coinciding with their second anniversary as a married couple.
Robi and Maiqui began dating in 2018 and got engaged via a surprise proposal in Japan in 2022. They then tied the knot in January 2024.
