The Global OTT Awards unveiled its nominees on Tuesday, May 12, for its upcoming 2026 edition that will be held during the Korea International Streaming Festival this June.

Included in the esteemed list is Filipina actress Angelica Panganiban, who bagged a nomination for her role in the Prime Video series The Silent Noise.

The series itself, meanwhile, earned a nomination in the Best Asian Contents category.

The Silent Noise made its premiere on Prime Video Philippines last March and also stars Zanjoe Marudo, Mylene Dizon, Zaijian Jaranilla, Mutya Orquia, Joem Bascon, and KD Omalin under the direction of Onat Diaz.

The 10-episode drama has drawn “solid viewership,”according to its production company ABS-CBN.

The series’ platform launch showed promising results ahead of its planned international release, with ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes also underscoring the significance of the milestone as the company prepares to bring the series to a wider audience globally.

The executive said, “The early response to ‘The Silent Noise’ is very encouraging as we prepare to bring it to a global audience. This reflects our continuing commitment to elevate Filipino stories and engage with viewers around the world through compelling, relevant, and meaningful narratives.”
