Coco Martin, Julia Montes resume filming for upcoming action-comedy series ‘Sigabo’

They are finally back on set.

They are finally back on set.

Following the postponement of its supposed premiere last March, the entire team of the upcoming ABS-CBN Studios, CCM Film Production, and Dreamscape Entertainment series Coco Martin’s Sigabo has officially resumed.

In a post on their social media page, actor-director and co-producer Coco Martin shared his excitement to finally being back on set with none other than his other half, Kapamilya prime actress Julia Montes.

“Nakaka-excite!

Sigabo marks their reunion after starring together in 2022 in the final arc of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and in other top-rated series Walang Hanggan in 2012 and Ikaw Lamang in 2014.

On being hailed as the Primetime King and Queen, Coco and Julia both grounded themselves, with the actress saying “marami pa kaming kakaining bigas, tatrabauhin.”

He also teased that Sigabo will be different from past two projects, as it will be a light drama that will follow an episodic narrative with comedians starring alongside them.

Talagang hinanda ko ‘to para sa kanya,” and told that the series was tailor-made for them and their current status as a real-life couple.

Initially slated for a March 16 premiere, Coco disclosed that he personally reached out to the management for a short break for the production team, who had just come from the success of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

At present, there is still no new premiere date for the program.
