She proudly shared a photo with him on social media.
In a post on her Facebook account, actress Kim Domingo announced that she is currently in a long-term relationship.
The star of the TV5 series A Secret In Prague did it by posting an image of her with her boyfriend with a message written in Thai.
She wrote, in the translated version, “No matter how noisy the world is, you will always be my quiet sanctuary. And years later, it’s still us. Happy 3rd Anniversary, my love 🤍”
Domingo then followed it up with another post on Saturday, where she revealed the face of her boyfriend, who posed for a picture with her family.
The actress opened the lengthy caption by saying, “Madaming nagtatanong sakin kung totoo ba or hindi. Isa lang po ang isasagot ko. Kayo na ang bahala. Dahil kung itatanggi ko, meron at meron pa ding masasabi. Kung sasabihin ko naman na totoo, meron at meron pa ding masasabi. Madami na ang tao ang humatol sakin agad.“
She then rhetorically answered the question: “Bakit ngayon mo lang nilabas boyfriend mo kung kailan may issue?“
The “issue” she is referring to is the recent allegations thrown at her by infamous online personality Xian Gaza.
Kim explained, “Sa loob po ng tatlong taon, nilayo ko sa mata ng publiko ang pribado kong buhay. Siguro naging lesson na din sakin ang past relationship ko na isinapubliko ko noon ngunit hindi naging maganda ang kinalabasan.”
“Nasira ang kanya kanya naming buhay. Iskandalo dito, iskandalo doon. At yun ang iniiwasan ko ng maulit,” she added.
The Kapatid star then shared that Thailand has become her second home in the past few years, as even during busy times, she still makes it a point to fly there to destress and unwind.
“Doon ko nahanap ang peace and safety na hindi ko mahanap hanap dito sa Pilipinas. Doon simpleng tao lamang ako. Hindi po ako si Kim Domingo doon,” she told.
During tines that she could not fly out of the country, it is her partner that makes the effort to head to the Philippines and visit her. “Sa mga past events ko, hindi alam ng madami na nasa tabi tabi lang sya. Nagmamasid. Nanonood. Tahimik na sumusuporta sa akin,” added the actress.
Kim also said that with exception of her inner circle, no one knows about her relationship, adding that she also receives much support from him to the point that he accompanies her to filming locations.
“Walang nakaalam kundi ang mga taong malalapit sa akin. Kung minsan kahit sa taping, nasa loob lamang sya ng sasakyan, ilang oras akong hinihintay hanggang sa matapos ang trabaho ko.”
She continued, “Ganun ka- supportive ang partner ko pero tahimik lang kami. Ganoon namin iningatan ang relasyon namin dalawa.“
Kim then affirmed that she decided to reveal her Thai boyfriend in public after three years in light of the issue.
“Pero dahil may lumabas na balita tungkol sakin, napilitan ako na ilabas sya bilang respeto na din sakanya at sa pamilya nya at tingin ko na dapat malaman ninyong lahat na ang current partner ko po ay isang Thai national. We’ve been together for 3 years.”
On Xian Gaza, Kim confirmed that she saw him at a music festival in Thailand last September, but she felt shy to greet him as they were with their respective companions.
She then made a statement directed at him and said: “To Mr. Xian, wala akong galit sayo. Ikaw lang ang nakakaalam ng rason kung bakit mo yan ginagawa. Or kung bakit mo iyan kailangan gawin.“
“Hindi ko sasabihin na sinungaling ka, hindi ko din sasabihin na nagsasabi ka ng totoo. Hindi ko din sasabihin na masamang tao ka. Bahala na ang mga tao ang humusga sa atin.”
“Hindi din ako maghahangad sayo ng masama. Bagkus, hinihiling ko na magkaroon ka ng peaceful life, more blessings at more happiness pa sa buhay mo. After ng lahat ng ito, respeto pa din po ang ibabalik ko sayo,” she wrote.
As for the people who were quick to judge her, she noted, “At sa mga taong nanghusga, bumatikos sakin, at mga taong hinila ako pababa na ang karamihan ay mga kapwa ko babae pa. Maraming salamat pa din sa inyo.”
“You are all forgiven,” she continued. “At gusto ko malaman nyo, kahit anong ipukol nyo sakin, nakayakap ang nasa itaas sakin. Pinagdasal ko na din po kayong lahat na sana mahanap nyo din ang peace at tunay na kasiyahan sa mga buhay nyo. Dahil sa paguugali na pinakita nyo, alam ko na hindi kayo totoong masaya at may kulang sa buhay nyo.”
Kim then imparted that a person without any enemy is one that is happy and peaceful, things that can’t be bought by money.
“I’m truly grateful sa Panginoon kung nasaan man ako ngayon. Minsan mahirap ang dadaanan ko pero alam ko after non, may naghihintay sakin na napakagandang pangyayari. Everything happens for a reason,” she added. “Kasama ko ang pamilya ko, mga tunay kong kaibigan at ang taong pinakamamahal ko. Masayang masaya kami. We are truly blessed.”
The actress also referenced the issue and said, “Wala man kaming 400-500 million, pero masasabi ko na daig pa namin ang mga bilyonaryo sa peace of mind at grateful heart na meron kami.”
