With seasoned runners and first-timers alike being invited to participate.
On Saturday, May 30, Sparkle GMA Artist Center will be holding Sparkle Run 2026, which is held in partnership with Manila’s Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts, and organized by RUNRIO Inc.
Set to happen at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta, City of Manila, fun-run promises to be a “one-of-a-kind experience” that brings people together in a celebration of “good vibes, shared energy, and genuine Kapuso fun.”
It is open to all levels with varying distances of 3K, 5K, 6.6K, 10K, and 16K, which will all begin at the Quirino Grandstand.
Based on details from its official website, registration fees for each distance are as follows:
- 3K – PHP1,000 (Singlet, Bib, Finisher’s Medal, and Loot bag)
- 5K Breezekada (Group of 4) – PHP4,320 (Singlet, Bib, Finisher’s Medal, and Loot bag)
- 6.6K – PHP1,200 (Singlet, Bib, Finisher’s Medal, and Loot bag)
- 10K – PHP1,400 (Singlet, Bib, Finisher’s Medal, and Loot bag)
- 16K – PHP1,800 Singlet, Bib, Finisher’s Medal, Shirt, and Loot bag)
Runners will be making their way through historic streets, as the energy will be blended with entertainment, live performances, and interactive fan moments.
Sparkle artists confirmed to run at the said fun-run event are Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Rayver Cruz, Glaiza De Castro, Camille Prats, Derrick Monasterio, Kristoffer Martin, Mikee Quintos, Sofia Pablo, and Allen Ansay.
There will also be appearances of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab housemates, as well as surprise guests.
According to organizers, it expects 8,000 participants to sign up for the said event.
