On Sunday, May 10, Korean pop group Apink is holding their first concert in the Philippines in years.

The current five-member group composed of Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung are staging a show as part of their The Origin: Apink Asia tour in the country.

In celebration of the team’s 15th debut anniversary this year, the show takes place at the University of the Philippines (UP) Theater in Diliman, Quezon City.

This show marks their return to Manila after previously participating in the Be You 3 concert in 2023.

Prior to this, Hayoung explored a mall and market in Quezon City, where she got to experience a taste of daily life in the country.

Apink was formed in 2011 and wad originally a seven-member group, but faced two line-up changes over the course of its 15-year run.

The team is known for their slate of hit singles such as MyMy, NoNoNoMr. ChuLUV, Only One, I’m So Sick, and %% (Eung Eung).

Last January, they dropped their 11th extended play entitled Re: Love, which is also their first music comeback since the release of Self in 2023, to mark the start of their milestone year. The latest EP carried the lead single Love Me More.
