It is top-billed by some of the network’s rising young stars.
On Tuesday, May 12, GMA Public Affairs unveiled more cast members of the upcoming romantic drama series You’re My Favorite Song.
Previously, it has been confirmed that it will be headlined by Sparkle artists and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2.0 housemates, led by that season’s Kapuso big winner Caprice Cayetano, second big placer Heath Jornales, Marco Masa, and John Clifford.
Confirmed to be joining them in the drama are Boboy Garrovillo, Katya Santos, and James Blanco.
Also part of the cast are other up-and-coming stars, such as other PBB Collab 2.0 housemates Lee Victor, Waynona Collings, and Princess Aliyah, as well as Andrei Fajardo and Cloud 7’s Kairo Lazarte.
You’re My Favorite Song is under the direction of JP Habac, who is behind the film I’m Drunk, I Love You. It is an original concept by Mark Ivan Caro and written by Erwin Caezar Bravo.
GMA has also confirmed that the new series, slated to begin airing later this year, will air on the GMA Afternoon Prime block.
Aside from this series, Caprice and Heath are also said to be starring together in different series under the GMA Drama unit, which is reportedly now titled A Million Dreams (from Pangarap Na Ginto).
However, details about that separate show remain scarce at the moment.
