On Friday, May 8, KCON Japan 2026, kicks off at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, where it will run through Sunday (May 10).
This three-day festival looks to deliver expanded K-lifestyle experiences and a more immersive overall festival and concert experience, such as new, hour-long sets for headlining acts on the M Countdown Stage.
That will be one of the multiple stages at the said event, which also include Artist, X, and Dance.
The Artist stage brings fans up-close performances from their favorite artists; while Showcase on the X stage features artists across various genres and Dance stage serving as an interactive K-pop dance hub where fans can learn choreography from artists and take on cover dance challenges.
The highlight of the festival is its star-studded lineup performers across these stages.
In alphabetical order, the slate includes ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AxMxP, Baby DONT Cry, CHOI YU REE, CORTIS, DXTEEN, EVNNE, FLARE U, GAN (Takanori Iwata), Hearts2Hearts, hrtz.wav, and H//PE Princess.
INI, IS:SUE, izna, JO1, Keyveatz, KEYVITUP, KickFlip, KIM JAE HWAN, KISS OF LIFE, ME:I, MODYSSEY, NiziU, P1Harmony, PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SHINSEKAI, RESCENE, TWS, ZEROBASEONE, &TEAM, and 8TURN are all part of the affair as well.
This year, KCON theme is Walk in Soul City, which is dedicated for fans who love Korean culture, KLOVERs (K-Lovers).
Fans are invited to explore a vibrant city filled with K-Soul, where every corner offers new discoveries of K-lifestyle and everyone can create their own Soul Map.
Attendees will be able to explore nearly 280 booths and immersive experiences spanning K-Beauty, K-Story, and K-Food zones.
At the Festival Grounds, in partnership with Korean government agencies, the special K-Collection with KCON Japan 2026 features 50 innovative small businesses looking to tap into the Japanese market.
Visitors can also browse a range of official KCON merchandise including key rings and tote bags on site as well as on global K-POP content platform Mnet Plus.
KCON Japan 2026 will also be streamed live via Mnet Plus and YouTube worldwide so fans around the world can enjoy it together.
Since its launch in 2012, KCON has pioneered an integrated K-culture convention platform that seamlessly blends K-pop performances with hands-on Korean cultural and lifestyle content.
