Just as the month of April wrapped up last Thursday, ticket selling for the upcoming WRten concert of actor-singer Wilbert Ross began.
Originally, the one-night-only event was scheduled to happen at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on July 25 and would coincide with his celebration of his tenth year in showbusiness. But within just 30 minutes, it was already declared sold-out by organizers, VAA Live.
In response, the 28-year-old personality shared on his account on X that he cried out of joy as it was a major feat for him as an artist, who is only holding a solo major concert for the first time in his career.
Hence, the following day, the company announced the addition of a second day, which will still happen at the same venue on July 26.
And on Saturday, May 2, ticket selling started for the additional date and Wilbert even personally made a visit to the TicketNet outlet at the Araneta Center to personally interact with fans.
And within one hour, all passes have ran out—making it, officially, a sold-out two-day concert.
Wilbert is fresh from the success of the 22-episode live action adaptation of Golden Scenery Of Tomorrow, which streamed on Viva One, as the lead male character Arkin Sanchez.
In the series, he was paired with Bea Binene, the other half of their loveteam called WilBea, who played Via Cruz.
He began his career as a contestant on the Tawag Ng Tanghalan segment of noontime show It’s Showtime in 2016, before joining the boy group Hashtags.
Wilbert would also dabble into acting, taking part in episodes of the drama anthologies Ipaglaban Mo, Wansapanataym, and Maaalaala Mo Kaya.
Meanwhile, as a singer, he has released albums like Lampara in 2023 and Aking Musika in 2025.
