It is the very first network-produced series to do so.

Last Friday, April 24, the first episode of the new action romantic-comedy series A Secret In Prague dropped on the streaming platform Netflix Philippines.

The said project, top-billed by Enrique Gil and Andrea Brilliantes, is the first-ever TV5 series to air its episodes in advance through the said service.

In the pilot episode, viewers will follow Mikoy (Enrique Gil) as he decides to leave the Philippines to work as a waiter at a restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic.

He would later meet a mysterious woman, Chiara (Andrea Brillantes), who is a half Filipina and Czech who will make him experience the beauty of the European city.

Joining Gil and Brilliantes in this new show are Edu Manzano, Joel Torre, Cedrick Juan, K Brosas, Kim Domingo, Mark Ian, and more.

And within two days since its platform premiere, ASIP has already landed the number 2 spot in the Top 10 TV Shows in the Philippines list of Netflix.

While it is the first Kapatid series to stream ahead of its linear broadcast on Netlfix, there have also been a handful of TV5 originals that stream on Netflix, with previous titles being the likes of Niña Niño and Suntok Sa Buwan—which were both aired at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
