The Kapamilya series is now on its last stand.

From Monday, March 9 to Friday, March 13, ABS-CBN top-rating primetime action teleserye FPJ’s Batang Quiapo will air its last five episodes.

The story will see a major turning point when Tanggol (portrayed by actor-director-producer Coco Martin) is officially declared as the Mayor of Manila after a successful revolution against the Guerrero clan.

Under his leadership, Tanggol vows to end years of corruption and restore peace and order in the city. However, his life will be put in danger when his enemies connive one last time to plot his downfall.

Tanggol will figure in an intense, all-out encounter against Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca), who will join forces with Rigor (John Estrada), and stage a massive rebellion to end Tanggol.

During the “grand pasasalamat” of the show on the Sunday variety show ASAP on March 8, the Primetime King, Coco Martin, expressed his gratitude to Filipinos for their support in the past three years.

In his message, he reflected on the journey of the show, which faced a major change at the start of the year when ABS-CBN switched affiliations from TV5 to ALLTV2 for the primetime block.

The actor-director-producer also acknowledged the hard work of the entire production team behind Batang Quiapo.

Pinaghihirapan namin ang show. Sa lahat ng mga Pilipino, kayo po ang dahilan kung bakit patuloy kaming lumalaban. Ginagawa po namin ang pinaka-best namin para mapaglingkuran at mapasaya kayo,” he added.

The country’s most-watched primetime series, both online and on its time slot on free and cable TV, promises the “most explosive ending” as it enters its last five nights filled with “non-stop action and confrontations – billed as the grandest and final battle at the Manila war zone.”

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo airs until this Friday, March 13, at 8:00 pm on ABS-CBN platforms, ALLTV2, and A2Z.
