As per its seventh advisory since the security situation started, the following services to and from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not push through in the coming days.
“The safety and well-being of our passengers, crew, and ground team remain our highest priority. We continue to closely monitor developments and assess flight operations in the region,” explained the company in its statement.
On March 9 and 11, 5J 740 from Manila to Riyadh will not be operated, with its supposed return flight, 5J 741, on March 10 and 12 not taking place.
The 5J 14/15 service, which flies Manila-Dubai-Manila, will not be flying on March 10 and 11.
As for the 5J 18/19, another Manila – Dubai – Manila service, scheduled for March 11, it is also affected by the cancelations.
CEB said that it will also be providing flexible options, including free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh scheduled until March 18, 2026.
“They may avail themselves of these options through the Manage Booking portal of the CEB website up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure,” furthered the airline.
CEB said that it will continue to assess its flight operations to and from the Middle East.
“As this remains a developing situation, further schedule adjustments may be necessary,” with passengers encouraged to check their flight status on its dedicated website and ensure their contact details are updated to receive timely notifications.
They may also opt to monitor updates through CEB’s official social media accounts.
