‘The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan’ to premiere on free, cable TV in March

On Monday, February 16, ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment announced more details regarding the series The Alibi, which stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.

The series, which quickly went to the number one spot on streaming platform Prime Video Philippines, will soon be airing on Primetime Bida on free and cable television this March.

Entitled The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan, the teleserye version will dive deeper into the intriguing love affairs of Stella (Kim Chiu) and Vincent (Paulo Avelino) and the mystery involving the murder of Walter (Sam Milby), which will lead to shocking plot twists and revelations that were not yet shown on Prime Video.

The story centers on Stella, a seductive escort, and Vincent, the heir to the most influential digital news empire in the country.

The two will get entangled in dark secrets when they connive for Stella to pose as Vincent’s alibi after it was revealed that he is the prime suspect in a high-profile murder of his rival, Walter.

Apart from the intriguing storyline, The Alibi also caught the attention and earned praise from viewers for the daring portrayals of KimPau in the series, including one of the most talked about scenes that was Kim’s sultry pole dance number in a club while Paulo looked on with an alluring gaze.

The cast of the series also includes John Arcilla, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Rafael Rosell, Robbie Jaworski, and Angelina Cruz, and is under the direction of Onat Diaz, Jojo Saguin, and FM Reyes.

Aside from never-before-seen scenes, viewers who have already watched the Prime Video miniseries cut will surely have to look forward to the alternate ending in the TV version.

The official time slot for The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan will be revealed in the coming days. Although, already confirmed are the platforms where it will air: Kapamilya Channel sa ALLTV2, on cable, and iWant, as well as A2Z. Kapamilya Online Live will also provide livestreaming on Facebook and YouTube.
