Featuring the ex-housemates of the first co-produced PBB season.
On Thursday, January 22, ABS-CBN Studios’ production unit Star Creatives unveiled the first teaser trailer for its upcoming collaboration series with GMA Network.
Entitled The Secrets Of Hotel 88, the series will feature most of the alums of the first Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Ediiton, which was another joint venture between the two media giants.
Confirmed to be part of this project are Brent Manalo, Mika Salamanca, Ralph de Leon, Will Ashley, Esnyr Ranollo, River Joseph, and AZ Martinez. Xyriel Manabat, Bianca de Vera, Kira Balinger, Josh Ford, Dustin Yu, Klarisse de Guzman are also joining the series.
Aside from PBB Collab alums, the likes of Gardo Versoza, Dominic Ochoa, and Ina Raymundo.
The 50-second preview gave viewers a glimpse into the mysterious Hotel 88, where the story will revolve around, as well as the dynamics of the cast members.
In a prior interview with ABS-CBN News, Brent and Mika, the first Big Winner Duo in the local franchise’s history, shared their excitement about the project.
Salamanca said, “Sobrang excited po kaming ipakita at papasukin kayo sa ‘Hotel 88’.“
Meanwhile, Manalo revealed that the show is slated to air in the first quarter of 2026 on GMA. “Pinaghandaan namin lahat ‘to and I know na lahat naman ng ilalabas namin ay susuportahan ninyo and we’re gonna make sure na this is something that we’ll be proud of. Abangan n’yo po yan mga Kapamilya.”
In the past few years, ABS-CBN and GMA have already partnered with each other multiple times.
They first joined forces in 2023 for the Dreamscape Entertainment-produced series Unbreak My Heart, which was followed by the GTV (and eventually, GMA) broadcast of the noomtime program It’s Showtime, the billion-peso movie Hello, Love, Again, and the back-to-back PBB Celebrity Collab and PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0 seasons.
