In a circulating video online, Kapamilya actress-TV host Kim Chiu was seen having a few seconds of interaction with her former reel and real-life partner, Gerald Anderson, at the recent Star Magcial 2025 Christmas ball.
The two received their respective loyalty awards for being part of the Kapamilya artist agency for the past two decades.
After receiving their recognition, Gerald proceeded to greet all the other recipients, including Kim.
That moment alone was uploaded onto social media by netizens, which caused many, especially long-time fans, to go on “relapse” or reminisce the past of the couple—who were first discovered as Pinoy Big Brother teen housemates in 2006, which Kim ultimately won.
In a post on her account on X, formerly Twitter, Kapamilya actress-host reacted to the viral clip.
“Nakakaloka yung feed ko ah. Kung makapagrelapse akala mo talaga eh di tayo niloko 15 years ago!!! hahahahaha char not char!!!!“, she wrote.
Her reaction has since garnered over 2.3 million views and over 24,000 likes, with some netizens even joking to “stop the relapse.”
At present, both Kim and Gerald are visible on TV and online.
The latter had just finished his comeback series after three years, Sins Of The Father, which concluded its run last Friday, November 21.
Meanwhile, the former is seen daily as host on the noontime variety program It’s Showtime and weekly via the hit Prime Video mystery-drama The Alibi as Stella.
