The content creator had previously apologized for their actions.

In a letter dated October 23, 2025, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned Viva Communications, Inc., specifically addressed to Viva President Vincent G. Del Rosario, to a dialogue.

The company is behind the 2025 CineSilip Film Festival.

This comes after a viral video circulated online showed one of content creator that attended the show’s premiere uttered profane remarks directed at the agency during the premiere of Dreamboi, an official entry to the said film festival.

According to the MTRCB, it found that the content creator’s remark is disrespectful to the institution and to the people behind the board’s work and noted that the meeting “seeks to promote mutual understanding and responsible conduct in public events.”

In line with our Responsableng Panonood campaign and our vision for healthy collaborative practices with our stakeholders, we would like to invite you for a dialogue on the said report,” the letter said.

It added, “While we respect freedom of expression, the agency views with serious concern the use of language that undermines respect for public institutions and the standards governing film classification.”

The meeting has been scheduled on November 4 and is “intended to serve as a venue for constructive discussion and to reinforce the importance of professionalism and accountability within the entertainment industry.”

While not directly named in the statement, it is identified to be Sassa Gurl, who attended the premiere showcase of the movie a day after the board lifted its X rating, which it issued twice, on the film and classified it under R-18.

At that time, she cursed at the MTRCB for doing such and questioned what content of the movie necessitated the issuance of the X rating previously.

Meanwhile, Dreamboi is still running in select theaters until November 4.
