It has been a month since the news broke out about their alleged off-screen relationship.
In an interview with MJ Felipe for the TFC program ‘Are You G?’, actor Daniel Padilla was placed on the hot seat after collecting his award from the Seoul International Drama Awards this month, where he bagged the Outstanding Star award for his role in ‘Incognito.’
The said question was in connection with his rumored real-life romance with one of his co-stars in the top-rated action drama series, Kaila Estrada.
The interviewer bluntly asked the question in the last part of the interview: “May jowa ka na ba?” (“Are you in a relationship?”)
One that Padilla did not directly answer as he responded, “Huwag na nating i-pressure ‘yung sarili natin, huwag na nating ilagay sa ganun, i-showbiz pa ‘yun, pero you get my point? Lalabas at lalabas, pero ayoko lang na may naghihintay na alam mo ‘yun, huwag na. Hayaan na nating mangyari ang mga mangyayari.”
He also requested for “them” to not be bothered by the public and told, “Huwag niyo na muna kaming kulitin, just let it be. Hayaan na lang nating mangyari ang mga bagay. And again, ayoko siyang maging showbiz eh. Well ‘di pa rin naman maiiwasan ‘di ba pero may choice pa rin naman ako, ‘di ba?”
His statement comes nearly a month after it was revealed by showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz in his online vlog that Damiel Padilla and Kaila Estrada are already dating.
Although, up to this point, Estrada has not yet made any comments regarding the matter, nor did her parents John Estrada and Janice de Belen.
