On Monday, May 25, GMA will premiere its new primetime action series Taskforce Firewall on its GMA Prime block.
Headlining the star-studded cast are Kapuso action drama actress Kylie Padilla, who will portray Isa Cervantes and and Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob Miguel Tanfelix as Galo Villareal.
The former is described as the heart of the Firewall and a disciplined strategist living in the shadow of her parents’ legacy, while the latter is a former soldier driven by personal trauma and thrust into handling cybercrime cases.
Joining the in the group are Jak Roberto as Hex Silverio, a survivor-turned-hacker with a highly weaponized intelligence used in solving crimes and Kyline Alcantara as Callie Sandoval, the team’s chosen financial brain.
Buboy Villar plays the part of Jhay-jhay Gonzaga, the VFX eye of the team and the Firewall’s go-to drone and video specialist.
Joining the cast are Allen Dizon, Glenda Garcia, Rodjun Cruz, Shayne Sava, Cheska Fausto, Anna Abad Santos, John Vic De Guzman, with the special participation of Yasmien Kurdi, Mark Herras, and Lexi Gonzales.
The series, directed by Rico Gutierrez, is the latest in the string of shows produced by the GMA Entertainment Group, led by Mga Batang Riles, Sanggang-Dikit FR, Never Say Die, and most recently, The Master Cutter.
Taskforce Firewall will air Mondays to Fridays at 8:55 pm after The Master Cutter on GMA Prime, Kapuso Stream, and the GMA Play app. with a delayed telecast on GTV at 10:30 pm.
