TWS publishes ‘Overdrive’ music video, fourth mini-album ‘play hard’

The band is officially back.

The band is officially back.

On Monday, October 13, K-pop boy group TWS released their fourth mini-album titled ‘play hard,’ along with the music video for the lead single, ‘Overdrive.’

The three-and-a-half-minute long clip encapsulates the overwhelming feeling of confessing to someone, but the MV injects humor by letting things go awry.

It has since generated more than 200,000 views more than three hours after it was uploaded onto video-sharing platform YouTube.

Prior to Monday’s launch of the complete mini-album, the group first issued their pre-release single ‘Head Shoulders Knees Toes’ last September 22.

TWS is composed of members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, and is managed by the Korean management company Pledis Entertainment, which is home to the highly-acclaimed boy group SEVENTEEN.

They debuted in 2024 with their chart-topping debut single ‘Plot Twist,’ which is part of their first-ever EP, ‘Sparkling Blue.’

Following that, they released the second mini-album, ‘Summer Beat!’, in June 2024 and their first album titled ‘Last Bell’ in November 2024.

In April 2025, the group last made its comeback with the third mini-album ‘Try With Us,’ which features the song ‘Countdown’ as its lead track.
