On Monday, October 6, ABS-CBN series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ unveiled its newest trailer, poster, and theme song as the show marks the beginning of its new chapter.
In the more than four-minute-long clip, Tanggol (Coco Martin) will begin his brave crusade for justice while being a high-profile fugitive after his enemies, the Guerrero clan, tarnished his reputation.
In order to clear his name and save his loved ones, Tanggol moves take down his enemies one-by-one, such as his former business partner Divina (Rosanna Roces), his ex-business partner who betrayed him, and her son, Rockyboy (Baron Geisler).
Amid the chaos, he will find a new and unexpected ally, Ponggay (Maris Racal), a rookie policewoman who will be going against a common enemy in Rockyboy.
Meanwhile, Rigor (John Estrada) will find himself clashing with the powerful Guerreros, Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca), to protect his son, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) who eloped with Erika (Gillian Vicencio).
Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) will also find her way back to Rigor, who will lock her up in his house as Ramon (Christopher De Leon) continues to fight for his life someplace else.
‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ is on the air every weeknight at 8:00 pm on ABS-CBN’s cable and digital platforms, A2Z, and TV5.
