The pop stars are confirmed to be teaming up for the new single.
In yet another Instagram post, Jisoo of the Korean pop girl group BLACKPINK officially revealed to her nearly 80 million fans on the platform her upcoming duet with none other than Zayn Malik.
The said photo sees the two stars in one frame, while a snippet of the song can be heard in the embedded audio in the poster.
Titled ‘Eyes Closed,’ the said digital single is reported to have been in the works for months now. This, as Malik was spotted at the BLACKPINK concert in New York last July.
At present, the full version of the said single has yet to be uploaded.
Jisoo made her debut as part of the group in 2016 and launched her solo career with her first single album, ‘Me,’ in March 2023.
Last February, she dropper her solo EP titled ‘Amortage,’ which featured the lead single ‘Earthquake.’
Meanwhile, Zayn Malik was a member of the British boy band from 2010 up until 2015. After which, he forged his individual path that led to his charttopping single ‘Pillowtalk’ that same year.
In 2024, he released his second studio album, ‘Room Under The Stairs.’
