His cover got noticed by the idols.
Right after the new hit K-pop single ‘5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman)’ came out on Monday, September 29, Kapuso actor and ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ alum Michael Sager was among the many people who came to instantly do a dance cover.
The 23-year-old heartthrob swooned netizens as his version, which has already amassed more than 2.9 million views and 42,000 likes on Instagram as of writing.
One of the millions of users that have watched the short clip are none other than the original singers themselves, SEVENTEEN members S.Coups and Mingyu.
The two reposted the video, along with other clips made by CARATs, to their respective Instagram stories—a move that generated buzz among their Filipino fans and supporters of the actor.
‘5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman),’ which features rapper Lay Bankz, was released by the duo under their newly-established sub-unit called CxM.
The song is the lead single of their ‘Hype Vibes’ mini-album, which also includes ‘Fiesta,’ ‘Worth It,’ ‘For You,’ ‘Young again,’ and ‘Earth.’
CxM is the fourth sub-unit of SEVENTEEN, which over the years had seen spin-offs like the BSS trio Seungkwan, Hoshi, and DK; JxW of Jeonghan and Wonwoo; and Hoshi X Woozi.
