In its social media post on Wednesday, October 1, streaming app Prime Video officially announced that the upcoming ABS-CBN crime-thriller series ‘The Alibi’ will be added to its library soon.

“Everyone has a secret to hide,” the caption of the post read, as stills from the drama top-billed by the People’s Superstars, Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, drummed up excitement for the show.

This program will also be Kim and Paulo’s second show to be made available on Prime Video, as their first show together, ‘Linlang,’ premiered on the service in November 2023 to major success globally.

As of writing, the full trailer for the new series, as well as its streaming date, have yet to be unveiled by both ABS-CBN Studios and Prime Video.

Although, it has been previously announced that Kim will portray Stella Marie Morales in ‘The Alibi,’ which will mark her fourth consecutive project with Paulo Avelino, who will then be playing the part of Vincent Cabrera in the series.

Other cast members include Zsazsa Padilla, John Arcilla, Sam Milby, Rafael Rosell, Sofia Andres, Robbie Jaworski, and Angelina Cruz.

FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin have both been tapped to direct the new KimPau drama, which is written by Danica Mae Domingo.
