It will be a star-studded movie.
Recently, the story conference for the upcoming 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry of MQuest Ventures and Cignal was held
Titled ‘Manila’s Finest,’ the movie will be set in the 1960s and center around a group of cops that were known for their honesty and integrity.
The production boasts a star-studded ensemble, led by no less than Piolo Pascual, who will be joined by Ariel Rivera, Joey Marquez, Romnick Sarmenta, Soliman Cruz, Cedrick Juan, and Jasmine Curtis. Rica Peralejo will also come out of her hiatus and return to acting through this movie.
Aside from them, up-and-coming stars in Kiko Estrada, Paulo Angeles, Dylan Menor, and Ethan David will also be part of the project.
To cap off her breakthrough year, ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E’ lead star Ashtine Olviga, who will soon be seen in the movie ‘Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna’ with on-screen pair Andres Muhlach, is also confirmed for ‘Manila’s Finest.’
The upcoming movie marks the third consecutive year that MQuest Ventures will take part in the MMFF, following ‘GomBurZa’ in 2023 and ‘Kingdom’ in 2024.
Notably, Piolo Pascual is also in both films, as well as the forthcoming movie ‘The Ride’—which is co-produced by MQuest, Cornerstone Studios, and Spring Films and will hit theaters on September 24.
Outside of filmmaking, the company is also actively producing TV shows for Mediaquest-owned platforms like TV5 and RPTV, as well as live events and music through MQ Live and MQ Music, respectively. It has also dabbled into talent management under the name MQ Artists Agency (MQAA).
