Last Tuesday, August 19, GMA Network officially announced the upcoming drama project of Kapuso Primetime King, Dingdong Dantes.
Titled ‘The Master Cutter,’ the show will mark his return to making teleseryes after the successful run of ‘Royal Blood’ in 2023.
In the new series, Dantes will be joined by Max Collins, whom he had previously worked with in the movie ‘Firefly,’ and one of the most in-demand Kapuso talents today, Shuvee Etrata, as well as Jo Berry and child star Sienna Stevens.
Aside from them, an cast comprising of award-winning screen veterans and rising stars will be seen in the GMA Drama production, led by Rio Locsin, Tonton Gutierrez, Joey Marquez, Paolo Contis, Ketchup Eusebio, Polo Ravales, Max Eigenmann, Charlie Fleming, and Prince Carlos.
‘The Master Cutter’ is set to be directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata, who is also the director behind ‘Royal Blood’ and Dantes’ prior projects like ‘Descendants of the Sun’ and ‘Alyas Robin Hood’.
While the new Kapuso drama series is still in the works, viewers can catch Dingdong every weekday afternoon in the top-rating game show ‘Family Feud’ and the weekly magazine program ‘Amazing Earth’ every Friday night.
