It was also the girls’ first time to grace the variety show.
On Sunday, August 17, the ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ of Philippine pop, BINI, made their debut appearance on the GMA weekly musical-variety show ‘All-Out Sundays’.
The octet graced the ‘AOS’ stage by performing their hit song ‘Cherry On Top’ and the newly-released special tour single ‘Shagidi’.
Meanwhile, Kapuso singers led by Julie Anne San Jose and Zephanie also did their renditions of ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ respectively.
Meanwhile, in the ‘Majesty’ segment, Julie Anne and Zephanie, along with Christian Bautista, Rita Daniela, and other singing champs sang the group’s other singles, ‘Karera’ and ‘Na Na Na’.
During the interview segment, members Jhoanna, Stacey, Colet, and Sheena were asked by hosts Rayver Cruz and Miguel Tanfelix some questions.
First on the list was regarding their dream collaborations, which Jhoanna and Stacey replied with names like Cup of Joe, Julie Anne San Jose, Ben&Ben, and Sarah Geronimo.
Meanwhile, Maloi, Gwen, Mikha, and Aiah reacted to the ‘Majesty’ performance of the prime Kapuso singers.
Maloi told, “Well, s’yempre, sobrang saya namin na makanta ‘yung B-songs namin dito sa All-Out Sundays. It’s such an honor and… I hope makabalik kami dito and ma-perform ulit ‘yung song namin. Thank you, mga Kapuso!“
Meanwhile, answering what song does she enjoy performing the most, Gwen revealed that her pick is ‘Shagidi,’ adding that she loves that the single is in a different genre than their prior releases.
As for Mikha, ‘Pantropiko’ remains in the members’ hearts and described the summer anthem as “fun to do” no matter what season.
Their appearance on ‘All-Out Sundays’ on August 17 is a rare occasion, given that the girl group is one of the regular performers in the rival variety show ‘ASAP’—which is produced by their mother studio, ABS-CBN.
Despite that, the Kapamilya network had already been open to letting their artists appear on ‘AOS,’ with their other P-pop groups like BGYO and 1621 also having made their separate guestings in prior episodes.
BINI debuted as an 8-member group in 2021 and shot to stardom in 2024 after their back-to-back hits ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin’ became viral hits online.
Recently, they have just capped their major ‘BINIverse World Tour’ series, which kicked-off with a sold-out show at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan in February 2025—the first-ever P-pop act to do so.
