The franchise is making its return soon.
During the ABS-CBN Trade Series ‘Iisang Tahanan: Kapamilya Forever’ earlier in the week, the network bared upcoming shows that will soon grace the screens.
One of the programs in the pipeline is the new season of the long-running reality format ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar,’ which will be back for its fourth season soon.
This time around, the show will be presented by the pair of ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario.
“Maraming pasabog po sa season na ito,” Vhong teased the forthcoming installment, while Jhong said the program will be packed with more dance and song numbers from the participants.
At present, the panel of judges and contestants, as well as the launch date for the all-new ‘YFSF’ have not yet been revealed.
‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ first aired on ABS-CBN in 2015 and was hosted by Billy Crawford, with Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano, and Jed Madela serving as the troika for the inaugural season.
In the top-rated season 1, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco was hailed as the first-ever local celebrity champion.
It went on to run for two more regular seasons in 2015 and 2021, which were respectively won by Denise Laurel and Klarisse de Guzman.
In 2017, the show introduced its ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids’ spin-off, with Awra Briguela named champion of the first edition, while TNT Boys took the top prize in the second version.
