On Friday, July 11, popular female K-pop group TWICE officially marked their comeback by dropping their fourth full-length studio album entitled ‘This Is For’.
Carried as the lead track is its namesake single, with its music video having beem published onto YouTube on the same day.
Within 9 hours of its uploading, the two-minute-long MV has received more than 5.2 million views.
‘This Is For’ marks the K-pop group’s return after dropping their fourteenth mini-album ‘Strategy’ in December 2024.
Moreover, this will also be their first studio Korean album in nearly four years, succeeding ‘Formula of Love: O+T=<3’ that was issued back in November 2021.
In addition to that, TWICE will also be embarking on their next tour, which was also aptly given the album’s title ‘This Is For’.
Included in the list of places they will visit for the Part 1 of the concert series is the province of Bulacan, where the team is set to perform at the Philippine Arena on October 4, 2025.
The concert will serve as the return of the nine-member team to the country after last visiting for a fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena in June 2024.
Meanwhile, also included as initial stops in the new tour are Incheon, Korea; Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, and Tokyo in Japan; Macao; Singapore; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Hong Kong; and Bangkok, Thailand.
Composed of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, they were assembled as a team after competing in the survival-reality show ‘Sixteen’ in October 2015.
TWICE went on to become a force in K-pop’s third generation, thanks to their successive hit singles ‘Like Ooh-ahh,’ ‘Cheer Up,’ ‘TT,’ ‘LIKEY,’ ‘Heartshaker,’ and ‘Yes Or Yes,’ among many others.
