In one of those, she thanked her friend and fellow showbiz writer Salve Asis, as well as their other peers, for visiting her at the hospital, where she also revealed that she felt an “anxiety attack” as she was lying on a hospital bed.
Everytime I wake up in the morning shock ako na nasa ibang kuwarto ako. Kaya nga minsan gulat ako paggising. Kaya tuloy parang at a lost ako tuwing gigising,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, in another post, she wrote the continuation of that where she expressed her realizations.
“Ang hirap pala ng maysakit. Hopeless, helpless, weak ka. Para bang hindi mo alam where and what to do. I feel it was already late for me para magkaruon ng ganitong episode sa buhay.
I feel sad, weak, but hopeful. Wishing na sana gumaling ako agad at maging active uli. I love life. I love my works. I love my friends. I live life like everybody else.”
She also thought that her sickness as something that she had to experience as an eye opener for her, especially with her undergoing medical procedures that are new to her.
At one point, she was also optimistic about her well-being, writing, “Kaya nga tiyak ako na gagaling agad ako.
Lolit Solis had been a fixture in the local zeitgeist since the 1970s, having hosted several shows and appeared in the movies.
