On Friday, July 4, Studio Viva officially announced its inaugural movie production, which would also be the first film topbilled by one of the biggest tandems today.
Titled ‘Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna,’ it will star two of Viva’s rising young stars, Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga—also known as the love team AshDres.
To build the excitement of Keepers, the company dropped a 50-second teaser featuring Ashtine as the titular character Luna and Andres as Raffy.
“Ngayon at magpakailanman, MINAMAHAL,” the video’s description read, with the film set to be released in cinemas later this year.
Andres and Ashtine were first paired in the hit digital series ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E,’ which premiered in January 2025 on the Viva One streaming platform.
Based on the Wattpad novel created by Lara Flores, the show gained following overseas, with fans from the countries of Vietnam, Nepal, India, and Malaysia coming forward to express their vocal support to the show and its cast.
After airing its last episode in April 2025, Studio Viva revealed during the two-night meet-and-greet event held afterwards that a second season of ‘AMNSE’ has been greenlit.
At present, however, TV5 is airing the first season of the youth-oriented drama every weekday evening on its ‘Primetime Primera’ block.
