The program is making its comeback very soon.
In a new plug released last Wednesday, June 18, ABS-CBN Studios and 3nithink Media’s quiz-game show ‘Rainbow Rumble,’ hosted by the tandem of Luis Manzano and comedian Negi, gave viewers a sneak preview of what’s to come this season.
The presenters shared the new twists of the program, including an updated game play with the introduction of Atras Powers, unlimited Tile Breaker rounds, additional prizes, and a bigger chance to get the PHP 1 million jackpot.
In the same teaser, the celebrity contestants have also been uncovered, with one of the first episodes set to feature the squad of ‘It’s Showtime’ host Vice Ganda, KaladKaren, Marina Summers, Iyah Minah, and Sassa Gurl.
Meanwhile, in another set, Manzano’s other-half and star of the upcoming series ‘Sins Of The Father,’ Jessy Mendiola, will bring along her fellow cast members—lead actor Gerald Anderson, JC de Vera, RK Bagatsing, and Jerald Napoles.
The original format was originally launched in July 2024 and aired until March 2025, when it was temporarily put off-air following the vice-gubernatorial bid of Manzano in Batangas province in the recent elections.
To date, there are already 2 grand winners (referred to as ‘Rainbow Rumble Masters’), and they are ABS-CBN News reporter Raphael Bosano and ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab’ ex-housemate Emilio Daez.
For its comeback season, the program will broadcast at the earlier time slot of 6:15 pm on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
It will also be carried for the first time by ALLTV, joining the drama anthology series ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ as part of its weekend line-up under the Jeepney TV sa ALLTV banner.
