The ex-reality show duo are starring together in the primetime series.
In a featurette on the Kapuso flagship newscast “24 Oras,” actor Ruru Madrid shared that former ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition’ housemates Ashley Ortega and AC Bonifacio will be seen in one frame again.
This, as the duo, known as ‘ACLey,’ will be joining the ongoing primetime drama ‘Lolong: Pangil Ng Maynila.’
Prior to this report, Ortega’s first scene in the show had already aired last Friday night, April 11, although her character was still shrouded in mystery upon her first meeting with Madrid’s titular character, Lolong.
Ashley and AC are confirmed to be playing the roles of special agents in the series.
Bonifacio, who will be doing action for the first time, shared that she feels nervous about doing the scenes.
“I am not ready, pero kakayanin ko po,” said AC.
Meanwhile, Ashley revealed that she has also messaged another ex-housemate, Charlie Fleming, who was evicted from the ‘PBB’ house on Saturday, April 12.
She also praised the young Kapuso actress, saying that Charlie handled her exit from the reality show “very well.”
AC and Ashley are among the first batch of participants that entered the house during the premiere of ‘PBB Celebrity Collab’ in March.
They left the program after garnering the least number of votes on the first eviction night.
