In a now-viral video on social media, singer-host-comedian Ogie Alcasid lightened up the mood during a recent fire drill at the ABS-CBN Compound in Quezon City.
While the staffers and his fellow Kapamilya talents were waiting outside the buildings during the simulation of an evacuation, Ogie decided to take the opportunity to hype up the crowd.
In the clip, Alcasid first portrayed a town leader, saying the usual line that is “Ipinatawag ko kayong lahat…“
He then asked the crowd to cheer for him, telling them that when he shouts his name “Ogie,” they must respond with “pogi!”
In another part, he then joked about being the bearer of the news that they won’t have salary.
But perhaps, the highlights were when he teased his ‘It’s Showtime’ co-host Vice Ganda to give out money and his kiss with wife and fellow ‘ASAP’ mainstay Regine Velasquez.
To date, the clip has garnered over 25,000 likes on Instagram and garnered laughing emojis and “haha” replies from the likes of Vina Morales, Iza Calzado, Jessa Zaragoza, Candy Pangilinan, and Yasmien Kurdi, among others.
